Our Wednesday Club invite you to a Recipe Evening in our Centenary Room. Six people will be asked to prepare a recipe to bring for others to sample.

Everyone is welcome and you probably won't need tea beforehand!

Kingsdown will be holding a Book Fair along with gifts and bric-a-brac in aid of Junior Mission for All and the Network. Admission is 40p. Refreshments available, and while you are there why not take at look at their recent hall refurbishment.

A Circuit International Evening will be held at Acton Hill Church. This is our Circuit's bi-annual 'International' get together with food from around the world and entertainment provided by each church.

To mark the beginning of Lent, there will be a Circuit Service for Ash Wednesday including Holy Communion at King’s Hall Methodist Church.

The first week in this year's 5-week Lent Study Course. The theme this year is "Ways of Praying." The Tuesday evening group meets at Greenford in the Church Parlour and the Thursday morning group meets at Pitshanger Church.

This week will look at the Benedictine way of praying.

The Annual Interdenominational Women's World Day of Prayer will this year be held at Haven Green Baptist Church. This year's theme is "Together in Prayer."

Churches Together in Hanwell monthly Prayer Meeting this month to be held in St Mellitus.

If you attend the prayer meeting this month then following the meeting you may wish to pop across the road to Hanwell Methodist to visit the Ealing Animal Welfare Bazaar - details below.

Hanwell Methodist Church will again be the venue for the very popular Ealing Animal Welfare Bazaar. Now in its 34th year and organised by one of our Church members. There will be a wide range of participating animal societies and charities. Vegetarian refreshments and lunches will be available. It makes a great day out and admission is free.

This year's Women's Network service at Kingsdown will be on the theme of "Training for Gold" in support of the 2012 Olympics.

This is the time when this year's Daffodil Day service will be held in this Centenary year of Westminster Central Hall. Following the recent refurbishment of the great organ, this year's service will have a theme of "In Praise of Music."

The annual Women's Network Craft Day will take place at Christ Church methodist Church, Uxbridge. This year there aims to be some new and interesting worshops. More details later.

A Four Churches Quiz Evening is being hosted by our Wednesday Club in our Centenary Room. Yes, it's bigger, it's better. This year the competition will be between St. Mellitus, Our Lady and St Josephs, St Christophers and Hanwell Methodist.

It was two Churches, then it was three, but this year it's four. Competition is hotting up for this popular event so we need a good team.

This is the date set for the next Circuit Meeting which will be held at Acton Hill Church.

A meeting of the Family and Fund Raising Committee is planned. Time and venue to be advertised later.

Our Love Hanwell Mission 2012 project will be having a book stall and prayer tent together with a public reading of the Passion narrative. Venue and times to be advised.

Wednesday
11th April

A trip to the Theatre arranged by our Wednesday Club. The show and venue, which may be a local theatre, to be decided nearer the time. Contact the Club Secretary nearer the date or keep your eyes on the weekly Church newsletter HMC News for details.

This year's Christian Resources Exhibition will be held at Sandown Park, Esher. It's a great day out with lots of exhibitors, talks, discussions, live workshops and entertainment.

A Parchment and Beading Craft Evening for our Wednesday Club hosted by two of our own Church members, Mary and Irene, will be held in the Centenary Room. Why not come and have a go? You can easily make something in a couple of hours.

All are welcome and refreshments will be served.

A Planning Meeting to determine the Wednesday Club's 2012/2013 programme of events. If you have got something to offer or a hobby or interest you would like to talk about, or even if you have got ideas of what items could be on the next season's programme then you will be welcome to come along to the Centenary Room to add your contribution.

In exchange for your ideas, you could be offered tea, coffee and cake... and the Wednesday Club offer a very good cup of tea, coffee and cake.
