About Our Church

Hanwell Methodist Church was built in 1904. During 2004, in order to celebrate its centenary, a series of monthly activities took place which were aimed at involving not only its own Church members, but also associated Circuit members, the local community, past members and ministers and anyone who had links with the Church over the past 100 years.

Our Mission

Hanwell Methodist Church is a Christian community of people, worshipping God and believing in the power of the Gospel. We are committed to living out and sharing the teaching of Jesus Christ and witnessing to His presence in the local neighbourhood and beyond.

The Church Family

• through worship and prayer to grow in love, faith and understanding,
• through friendship to care for one another and to serve the wider community,
• through commitment to and knowledge of our faith, to inspire others.

The Church Family at Hanwell aims:

• to share the joy of the Christian Gospel,
• to deepen our level of spirituality, individually and as a community,
• to provide an attractive and welcoming atmosphere for worship,
• to share the responsibility of worship,
• to create the opportunites for meeting together in fellowship,
• to promote Christian education,
• to seek ways to serve others.
